Happy 5th Birthday (Pearl & Joe’s litter)

We just had a 5th birthday for Pearl and Joe’s litter of 12.  We did receive a few photos to share.  We have Winston (gray collar), who lives in MN with his younger sister from another one of our litters, Maggie.  Winton loves to play wiffleball, go for walks, and enjoys lounging on his favorite blue chair.  Finley (black collar) lives outside of Chicago with his older brother from another one of our litters, Bear.  They are beautiful boys!  Stella (light pink) was the largest girl in the litter and it looks like she’s held up to that, very pretty, she also lives in MN.  Our Maddie was the smallest female (dark pink collar) and she bonded to me before she even opened her eyes, so that’s how we chose her.

2 more boys from Maddie & Bubba (6 mos old)

We have had two more responses to our 6 month old request for photos!  Bubba lives in North Branch MN and resides with long time clients that have known our big boy Bubba since he was a puppy.  They love him and wanted to honor him by naming their boy Bubba also.  Bubba Jr was the blue collar boy.  Atticus lives in a suburb south of the Twin Cities with several other furry friends.  He was named as a tribute to “Maddie” and he is called “Atti”.  He was the adorable little purple boy.

New Labrador in the house!

We are so happy to announce that we have a new puppy.  She comes from our friend and breeder in Washington State and has a wonderful Pedigree on both sides of her lineage, to include the very special Goldberry lines.  Introducing Baxter Lakes Sweet Sunshine!  My beloved mom, who has passed away, called me Sunshine throughout my life.  So that is how I came up with Sunny, it’s short for Sunshine.  She immediately attached herself to our Maddie and is still working her way into Rosie’s heart.  Rose is definitely amused with her but is not ready to tussle and play with her too much yet.  Sunny was easy to potty train and is learning our routine very quickly.  Adding her to the family helps us relate to what our clients go through when they adopt one of our puppies.  I always tell people that it’s like having a newborn baby, but I now think the toddler stage is more applicable to the experience.  I’ll be posting updated photos and videos as she grows. She’s smart and adorable, and we couldn’t be happier!

Bo & Bentley say hello from Canada

Bo and Bentley are brothers from the same litter.  Born in March of 2022 to Maddie and Bubba, and they live in Canada with a wonderful family.  They have another canine companion in the house too, Mia was adopted after the boys were several months old.  They enjoy lots of love, toys and attention and also get to go the cabin for lake time in the Summer.
